1. OVERVIEW

This is the most anticipated and remarkable photography tour of 2025. This year, we’ve added many secret and extraordinary shooting locations that will leave you in awe. With more photography spots and greater creative opportunities, this tour offers unforgettable experiences and once-in-a-lifetime moments.

Lop Nur, the uninhabited region of Xinjiang, features some of the world’s most unique landforms. Every year, we discover new scenic spots—this is a destination that every adventurer and photographer should visit at least once. Photography is more than an art—it’s a journey of reflection. The vast, wild landscapes of this region make it the perfect place for mindfulness and soul-searching. This trip is not just about producing great images, but also about contemplating nature and life.

3. ITINERARY

NOTE:

DAY 1
Arrival and group meetup at the hotel in Urumqi (meals not included).

DAY 2
Travel to Mulei County. Hotel stay in the city.
Evening shoot: sunset in the desert poplar forest with a lone tree.
C1: Lone Tree Sunset

DAY 3
Depart in the morning to the remote region of Dà Hǎi Dào. Set up camp.
Afternoon shoot: sunset photography featuring themes such as nude, traditional costumes, Zen, and martial arts.
C2: Sunset with Nude, Ancient Costumes, Zen, Martial Arts

DAY 4
Full-day shoot in Dà Hǎi Dào. Continue camping overnight.

DAY 5
Morning shoot: sunrise in Dà Hǎi Dào.
Travel to the Tamdao Ridge mining area for portrait photography.
Hotel stay with time to arrange outfits and prep for next sessions.

DAY 6
Morning shoot: the final steam train, with model integration.
After lunch, transfer to the uninhabited Little Nanhú area.
Evening shoot: traditional Loulan attire and desert sunset. Camp overnight.

DAY 7
Morning shoot: sunrise at Little Nanhú
Transfer to Great Nanhú and set up camp.
Concepts include: sunrise/sunset, martial arts in the desert, desert fashion, Milky Way, and star trails.

DAY 8
Morning shoot: sunrise at Great Nanhú
Travel to Qiemo County, check in to hotel.
C13: Sunrise at Great Nanhú

DAY 9
Morning shoot: sunrise at Qiemo Ancient City in the desert, with camel caravan setup.
C14: Sunrise in Qiemo
C15: Camel Caravan with Models
Visit and photograph at Flaming Mountains (1 hour drive), then continue to Tuyugou Village.
Later, transfer to Korla and stay overnight.

DAY 10
Korla city tour:
Visit and photograph:

  • Red Hill Park
  • Hongguangshan Buddha Statue
  • Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar
  • Bogeda Peak Viewpoint

DAY 11
Hotel check-out and flight back to Vietnam.
End of tour.

PRE-DEPARTURE NOTES:

  • Weather in Xinjiang fluctuates significantly, so pack layered clothing, warm outerwear, windproof jacket, raincoat, and essential medications.
  • Wear comfortable sports shoes for easier movement.
  • Bring hat/cap and scarf
