1./ INTRODUCE
The journey from Nha Trang to Hue offers photographers an extraordinary adventure, capturing the harmonious connection between Vietnam’s natural beauty and its people. This route presents countless opportunities to document life in traditional craft villages, from the hardworking farmers tending their fields to artisans meticulously creating pieces of national folk art. Along the way, photographers can frame the enchanting sight of young women in “Ao dai” gliding on serene waters, illuminated by the glow of lanterns—a scene that evokes a magical and breathtaking atmosphere, perfect for inspiring creative compositions.

3./ ITINERARY

DAY 1 – 12 May: Nha Trang
Arrive at Nha Trang airport (CXR).
Transfer to a hotel near Hon Khoi for rest.
Stay the night in Hon Khoi.



DAY 2 – 13 May: Nha Trang – Phu Yen (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
The group woke before sunrise, driven by the promise of capturing the day’s most stunning moments.
C1: Sunrise at Hon Khoi salt field.
Back to hotel for breakfast.
C2: Nha Trang moss beach.
Move to Phu Yen (approximately 2 hours).
Post-lunch, the group kicks off our afternoon photography session.
C3: Capture the scene of harvesting sedge (2 local models recreate this scene).


C4: Capture the process of drying sedge (5 local models).
After being brought back, the sedge will be dried in the sun. The worker spreads out each bundle of sedge to dry before moving on to the next stage.
C5: Capture the process of dyeing sedge and making mats.
Once the sedge is dried, the dyeing process begins. The sedge is dyed into many vibrant colors, dried to keep its color fresh, and made into beautiful mats.
Stay the night in Phu Yen.

DAY 3 – 14 May: Phu Yen (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
As the first rays of sunlight touched the earth, the group, already awake and energized, began our photographic adventure.
C6: Sunrise at Ganh Den.
Drive back to hotel for breakfast.


C7: Tuyet Diem salt mines.
C8: Hon Yen fishing nets.
Re-energized from lunch, the group begins their afternoon exploration with cameras in hand.

C9: Coracle boat – making process (2 local models).
The coracles (small round boats) are iconic in coastal Vietnam. Watching the creation process will yield beautiful, detailed shots of craftsmanship.

C10: Sunset scene of boats tied at O Loan lagoon.
Stay the night in Phu Yen.



DAY 4 – 15 May: Phu Yen – Quang Ngai (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Once breakfast is finished, check out and continue your journey to Quy Nhon.
C11: Ong Cop wooden bridge.
Head to Quy Nhon (approximately 1 hour).
C12: Capture the process of drying bun An Thai (a type of rice noodle).
After lunch, travel to Quang Ngai (approximately 5 hours).
C13: Capture the sunset at Mui Ba Lang An.
Have dinner. Stay the night in Quang Ngai.
DAY 5 – 16 May: Quang Ngai – Hoi An (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After the morning meal, pack up, check out, and make your way to Hoi An (driving time 2 hours).

C14: Capture the Bay Mau coconut forest.
The Bay Mau Coconut Forest stretches as far as the eye can see, creating a breathtaking panorama of lush greenery and tranquil waterways.
C15: Capture buffalo pulling (1 cow, 3 models).
A rural action shot capturing the power of the animals and the beauty of the countryside. The green fields will offer a vibrant, peaceful setting.

After a relaxing lunch, the team starts our afternoon of capturing stunning photographs.


C16: Capture net weaving in Hoi An.
C17: Sunset in Hoi An ancient town.
Dinner and free exploration of Hoi An ancient town.
Stay the night in Hoi An.


DAY 6 – 17 May: Hoi An – Hue (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Start the day early at 4:00 AM with a boat trip to the sea, setting the stage for a morning of seascape photography.
C18: Sunrise at Cua Dai (1 model).
Have breakfast at hotel.
C19: Capture mask artisans (1 mask maker).
Travel to Hue and have lunch on the way.


Afternoon:
C20: Casting nets on the Nhu Y River.
C21: Releasing lanterns on the Nhu Y River.
Have dinner. Stay the night in Hue.

End the journey
DAY 7 – 18 May: Hue
Travel to the airport for your return flight, closing this chapter of the journey.
