1./ INTRODUCTION

The Ho Chi Minh – Tram Chim – Ma Da – Cat Tien – Son Tra – Da Nang journey brings you closer to Vietnam’s rich natural treasures. From the wetlands of Tram Chim to the tropical forests of Cat Tien and the coastal greenery of Son Tra, you will encounter more than 50 bird species and various wildlife. Each stop offers not only spectacular landscapes but also authentic experiences of Vietnam’s vibrant biodiversity.

Day 1 – 1 Mar: Ho Chi Minh
Arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Transfer to Tram Chim (4 hrs). Check in and rest before the first bird photography adventure.
Overnight at Tram Chim.

Day 2 – 2 Mar: Tram Chim National Park (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Explore wetlands of Tram Chim, home to 50+ bird species. Capture elegant waterbirds like Blue-tailed Bee-eater, Purple Heron, and rare species in their natural environment.

Day 3 – 3 Mar: Tram Chim National Park (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Another full day at Tram Chim to maximize opportunities for photographing wetland birds—feeding, flying, and nesting among the reeds.

Day 4 – 4 Mar: Tram Chim – Ma Da (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Transfer to Ma Da Reserve, a pristine lowland forest with ~30 bird species. Capture forest-dwelling birds amid lush greenery.

Day 5 – 5 Mar: Nam Cat Tien National Park (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Enter Cat Tien National Park, a biodiversity hotspot with 30+ bird species. Explore forest trails with chances to photograph broadbills, barbets, and woodpeckers.

Day 6 – 6 Mar: Nam Cat Tien National Park (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Full day of bird photography and searching for rare primates like Yellow-cheeked Gibbon, Red-shanked Douc Langur, and Annamese Silvered Langur.

Day 7 – 7 Mar: Nam Cat Tien National Park (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Continue bird photography in Cat Tien’s diverse habitats—riversides, wetlands, and ancient trees.

Final full day capturing Cat Tien’s wildlife. Combine bird photography with unforgettable encounters with Vietnam’s primates.

Day 9 – 9 Mar: Cat Tien – Ho Chi Minh
Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Conclude the trip with a rich collection of bird and wildlife photography.
