1./ GENERAL INTRODUCTION

Ladakh – known as the “Little Tibet of India” – lies at the foothills of the majestic Himalayas, where raw nature and profound Buddhist culture converge. Ranked among TIME Magazine’s Top 50 Greatest Places in the World (2023), Ladakh captivates travelers with snow-capped peaks, crystal-clear lakes, misty valleys, and ancient monasteries perched high above the clouds.

In late spring to early summer, snow still glistens on the high passes while apricot blossoms bloom along the mountain slopes — transforming Ladakh into a paradise for photographers seeking to capture the mystical beauty of the Himalayas.
