Throughout this 6-day journey, you will follow the trail of cherry blossoms from Tokyo to Yamanashi — each region offering its own distinct charm and emotion.

2./ HIGHLIGHTS

  • Chureito Pagoda & Mt. Fuji – The ultimate spring symbol of Japan, where the red pagoda, Mt. Fuji, and rows of cherry blossoms come together in a breathtaking composition.
  • Nakatsuna Lake – Known as the “Mirror of Spring” in Nagano, the calm surface reflects the blossoms and blue sky — a perfect scene for lyrical photography.
  • Gongendo Park – A spectacular cherry blossom walkway stretching beside golden fields of rapeseed, one of Saitama’s most iconic spring sights.

3./ ITINERARY

NOTE:

DAY 1 – March 30: Narita Airport – Saitama (Lunch/Dinner)
Arrive at Narita Airport in the morning. After immigration procedures, transfer for lunch.

C1: Sakura photo session at Chidorigafuchi, one of Tokyo’s most picturesque cherry blossom spots.

Continue to Tokyo Tower & Zojoji Temple (30 min).
C2: Capture sunset and twilight at Tokyo Tower & Zojoji Temple – a perfect blend of modern and traditional architecture.

After dinner, travel to Nakameguro (1h15).
C3: Night photography along Nakameguro Canal, illuminated by soft lanterns and sakura reflections.

Evening transfer to Saitama (1h).
Overnight in Saitama.


DAY 2 – March 31: Saitama – Gumma – Nagano (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast, depart for Gongendo Park.

C4: Photograph endless cherry trees in full bloom beside vibrant fields of yellow canola flowers.

Continue to Gumma (2h).
C5: Capture Godo Station, a quiet countryside station framed by rows of cherry blossoms.

After lunch, head to Tenno Zakura (1h30).
C6: Photograph ancient sakura trees glowing under the spring sunlight.

Afternoon transfer to Nagano (near Nakatsuna Lake) (3h30).
Dinner and overnight in Nagano.


DAY 3 – April 1: Nagano – Gifu (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Morning transfer to Nakatsuna Lake.
C7: Capture the first light of dawn mirrored in the calm water beneath blooming sakura.

Continue to Okaya (1h20).
C8: Photograph the peaceful Suwa Lake framed by cherry blossoms.

After lunch, move to Magome Juku.
C9: Capture the cobblestone streets and small streams of this preserved Edo-period post town.

Continue to Ena Lake.
C10: Photograph sunset over Ena Lake.

Dinner and overnight in Gifu.


DAY 4 – April 2: Gifu – Kanagawa (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Morning transfer to Toyota (1h).
C11: Capture Suigen Park, where cherry blossoms bloom along clear rivers and stone bridges.

Continue to Shizuoka (3h30). After lunch:
C12: Photograph Izukogen Cherry Trees, a tunnel of blossoms arching gracefully over the walkway.

Afternoon transfer to Ashi Lake (1h30).
C13: Photograph Ashi Lake and Hakone Shrine with Mt. Fuji as a majestic backdrop.

Dinner and overnight in Kanagawa.


DAY 5 – April 3: Yamanashi (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Morning transfer to Yamanashi (1h15).
C14: Capture Oshino Hakkai, where cherry blossoms frame the perfect view of Mt. Fuji.

Then continue to Chureito Pagoda (20 min).
C15: Photograph the iconic Chureito Pagoda with Mt. Fuji and sakura in full bloom — the timeless spring postcard of Japan.

After lunch, head to Kawaguchiko Tenjoyama Park.
C16: Wide-angle capture of Kawaguchiko from above, blending lake, blossoms, and mountain views.

Dinner and overnight in Yamanashi.


DAY 6 – April 4: Yamanashi – Saitama – Narita Airport (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Morning transfer to Saitama (1h45).
C17: Capture the nostalgic charm of Kawagoe Ichibangai, a lively old street lined with traditional shops.

After lunch, head near Narita Airport for free time and shopping.
C18: Final street photography session in the Narita area.

Evening transfer to Narita Airport for departure flight.
