1./ GENERAL INTRODUCTION
Yuanyang Rice Terraces, often hailed as “The Wonder of Terraced Fields in the World”, is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Stretching endlessly across the mountain slopes, the terraces create a breathtaking panorama, especially during the water season and harvesttime.

3./ ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai – Yuanyang
06:00 – Meet at Mipec Tower, Tay Son. Transfer by private coach to Lao Cai International Border Gate (approx. 4 hours).
11:00 – Complete immigration procedures at Hekou, then enjoy lunch with authentic Chinese cuisine.
Continue to Yuanyang to photograph the stunning sunset over Ba Da terraces — where sunlight cascades across layers of fields, creating a golden glow on the landscape.
C1: Sunset at Ba Da Terraces
Dinner and hotel check-in in Yuanyang. Overnight in Yuanyang.


Day 2: Yuanyang
Early morning shoot at Duoyishu Terraces as the first rays of sunlight pierce through the mist, illuminating the mirror-like paddies.
C2: Sunrise at Duoyishu
Return to hotel for breakfast.
Visit and photograph Azhakou Village, home to the Hani people with their unique mushroom-shaped houses — an inspiring scene forphotographers.

C3: Ancient Hani Village
Lunch at the village.
Afternoon: Transfer to Laohuzhui for a sunset session. The terraces here flow in elegant curves down steep hillsides — perfect for experimentingwith diagonal or S-shaped compositions under golden light.
C4: Sunset at Laohuzhui Terraces
Dinner and overnight in Yuanyang.



Day 3: Yuanyang – Hekou – Lao Cai
Morning shoot at Yishu to capture the sunrise, followed by breakfast and hotel checkout.
Continue photographing the picturesque Laoyingchou Terraces, a lesser-known but spectacular viewpoint.
C5: Sunrise at Yishu
C6: Laoyingchou Terraces
Return to Hekou for lunch, short visit around the town, then proceed with exit formalities and transfer back to Hanoi. End of the journey.
