3./ITINERARY

DAY 1 – 17/08 ARRIVAL DATE
The group flies to Ulan Bator (UB) and gathers at Ulan Bator Airport (ULN).
Then transfer to a fully equipped hotel in UB center for check-in.
Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 2 – 18/08 ALTAI TAVAN BOGD
At dawn, transfer to Chinggis Khaan Airport (ULN) for the 07:25 flight to Olgii.
Upon arrival, visit a Kazakh family to photograph locals and traditional Eagle hunters.

After lunch, continue to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park.
Overnight in Kazakh ger tents at the national park gate.
Travel distance: 200 km

DAY 3 – 19/08 KHOTON LAKE
After breakfast, drive 1 hour toward Altai Tavan Bogd mountain.
Trek 2–3 hours through the mountains.
C2: Freestyle at the Altai Mountains
After lunch, rest and prepare photography gear.

Afternoon: move to Khoton Lake for sunset at the Lonely Tree.

DAY 4 – 20/08 BAGA TURGEN WATERFALL
After early breakfast, depart for Baga Turgen Waterfall. Short drive + 6 km walk (horse rental optional).

Afternoon: visit rock paintings and wild sheep/Siberian goats.

After lunch, move to Khoton Lake valley for eagle hunter photos with mountains.

DAY 5 – 21/08 OLGII CITY
Relaxed breakfast then drive to Olgii.
Visit an Eagle hunter family and experience their lifestyle.
C7: Everyday life at a traditional hunter’s family
Lunch with the family.
Check in hotel and dinner at Kazakh restaurant.
Travel distance: 210 km

DAY 6 – 22/08 LAKE TOLBO – ALTANTSUGTS VILLAGE
Early morning photoshoot at Lake Tolbo with Eagle hunters.

Return to Olgii then continue to Altantsugts village for more eagle hunter sessions with Altai Mountains.

DAY 7 – 23/08 ULAN BATOR
Early breakfast and flight back to UB at 09:25.
Lunch at airport. Free afternoon to shop or explore Chinggis Khaan Square or the Grand Statue.

DAY 8 – 24/08 RETURN DATE
Free time in the morning before your departure flight.
End of the Mongolia photography journey.
