Detailed initerary
DAY 1: ARRIVAL DATE
Welcome the delegation in Ha Noi (HAN) and check-in at the hotel.
Stay the night in Ha Noi.
DAY 2: HANOI – CAO BANG
After enjoying breakfast, it’s time to check out and begin the journey to Cao Bằng. The trip takes 6 hours.
Arriving Cao Bang, the group visits: Mat Than Moutain (Eye of the Mountain), also known as Thung Mountain, named after its unique circular hole near the summit, resembling an “eye”. This is a one-of-a-kind mountain in Vietnam.
C1: Capture the sunset at Thung Moutain
C2: Photograph the traditional fishing activity (kéo vó) at Thung Moutain
Return to the hotel in Trung Khanh for check-in and rest.
Stay the night at Trung Khanh.
DAY 3: CAO BANG
As the first rays of sunlight touched the earth, the group, already awake and energized, begin to capture the magnificent natural beauty of Cao Bang.
C3: Capture the sunrise at Phong Nam, with a setup of bamboo rafts.
Following lunch, the group sets out for their afternoon photography session
Discover the majestic Ban Gioc Waterfall, a symbol of Cao Bằng.
C4: Photograph Ban Gioc Waterfall from the Chinese side, capturing the raw power of the water, with sunlight streaming through the mist to create a shimmering, magical scene.
Arrive at the local hotel near Ban Gioc and relax
DAY 4: CAO BANG – DU GIA
Before the world stirred, everyone was up and prepared, setting off to embark on a photographic adventure to Ngoc Con and Phia Siem for stunning sunrise shots.

Visit Phia Thắp Village (approximately 1 hour’s drive), famous for its traditional incense-making craft, with a history spanning over 100 years.
C7: Arrange shooting with local model in Phia Thap Village.
After finishing the Cao Bang photoshoot, we set out for Du Gia, Ha Giang to keep uncovering Vietnam’s charm through photography. (The trip takes 7 hours, lunch en route).
The team starts our afternoon of capturing stunning photographs. Fill your lens on the terraced fields of Ban Kep, capturing the golden hues and fragrant rice fields at sunset.

Check-in and rest at the hotel in Du Gia
(Optional activity: Night photography to capture the starry skies of Du Gia)
DAY 5: HOANG SU PHI
Once the morning meal is done, check out of the accommodation and head Hoang Su Phi.
Along the way, capture stunning scenes at iconic spots like Ban Peo, Ta Phin Ho, Ban Luoc, Nam Ty, Nam Hong, and Ta Su Choong…
C9: Photograph the stunning terraced fields of Hoang Su Phi, as a testament to the local people’s hard work and creativity.
Head to Ban Phung, a paradise for photographers. Check into a homestay at the highest point of Ban Phung.
With lunch concluded, the group moves on to the afternoon photography session
C10: Photograph Phung Ca or To Meo, documenting the daily lives of locals.
C11: Sunset at Phung Ca.
Stay the night at Ban Phung.
DAY 6: MUONG HUM
The group rose with the sun, our cameras ready to frame the breathtaking scenes awaiting us. Join a guided sunrise photography session in Ban Phung, capturing the first light of dawn as it illuminates the terraced fields, with breakfast along the way.
C12: Sunrise at Ban Phung.
Transfer to Mường Hum (The trip takes 5 hours). Explore the breathtaking landscapes of Sang Ma Sao, with its untouched mountains, terraced fields and traditional H’mong villages.
C13: Landscape photography of Sang Ma Sao.
C14: Staged photography session with H’mong ethnic models, ensuring the setup highlights their traditional attire and cultural essence
C15: Sunset in Muong Hum
Return to the homestay and rest in Muong Hum.
DAY 7: SA PA
After the morning meal, pack up, check out, and make your way to Sa Pa, a misty ancient town (about 2-hour drive).
C16: Photograph the wild, majestic landscape of O Quy Ho Pass, one of Vietnam’s “Four Great Passes” and the longest pass in the country.
C17: Engage with the Dao ethnic minority and stage a photography session to capture their daily lives.
At sunset, head to an ideal vantage point to capture the golden hour at O Quy Ho Pass.
C18: Sunset at O Quy Ho Pass
Stay overnight in Sapa to rest and prepare for the next photography session.
DAY 8: SAPA – MU CANG CHAI
After enjoying breakfast, it’s time to check out and travel to Mu Cang Chai (The trip takes 4 hours)
C19: Photograph Mam Xoi Hill.
After a relaxing lunch, the team starts our afternoon of capturing stunning photographs.
2:00 PM: Visit Sang Nhu, a traditional H’mong corn house, for a photography session. Followed by Lao Chai Village for sunset scene.

Stay the night in Mu Cang Chai.
DAY 9: MU CANG CHAI – HA NOI
Today we don’t need wake up early. After enjoying breakfast, check out and travel to Tu Le, with scenic photography along Cao Pha Pass.
C22: Freestyle shooting at Khau Pha pass
Return to Hanoi. The trip takes 7 hours.
Arriving in Hanoi, the group embarks on a city photography tour, capturing the vibrant essence of Vietnam’s capital.
Stay the night in Ha Noi
DAY 10: DEPARTURE DATE
